Landscape Architecture Statement of Interest As a landscape architect and
urban designer, I am interested in how people create
connections with their culture, time, and place,
particularly in our increasingly mobile society and
urbanizing environments. My research and teaching seek
meaningful ways in which children can discover, interact
with, and value their local ecological and social
communities through participatory design processes. My
involvement with CEEDS affords cross-disciplinary enrichment
of these interests. Through action research and
community-based teaching in local contexts, I envision a
wealth of potential applications Sponsored Projects of Note
